191 – The End of Work

We are already dancing around the edges of universal basic income.  Of the 267 million working-age adults in America, about 100 million have already opted out of the workforce.  Artificial Intelligence soon may realistically eliminate 20 percent of all the jobs currently held by high-paying professionals.  Is it time to consider that our relationship with work is about to change in very profound ways?
